EYE 2020

The Episcopal Youth Event is this July 7th-11th at the University of Maryland in College Park.  The Episcopal Church in Arkansas will fly up a day early so we can spend the 6th and the 7th touring DC before EYE.   EYE2020 is open to youth who are current high school aged students in the 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade for 2019/2020 school year who are active in an Episcopal Church in Arkansas or an affiliated ministry of the church.  In addition to the Episcopal Youth event,  we also plan to see the Smithsonians, Monuments and the National Cathedral.

We plan to fly in and out of Little Rock, but if a large group is coming from Northwest Arkansas we may have a group fly in and out of XNA also.

We are able to take 22 youth total this year at the $600 price.  One those spots are filled a waitlist will begin to see if we can open up some more spots.  If those 22 spots are not full, registration may close as early as January 15th.

The total cost for youth for EYE from the Episcopal Church in Arkansas will be $600 with 22 spots aviailable for youth. The amount includes all airfare, food, travel, touring and lodging.  This is possible through a very generous amount from the diocesan budget and we’re thankful to Executive Council and churches that pay into that budget. For this reason there, EYE scholarships are not available from the diocese. However, if the cost is prohibitive for your family, please reach out to your local church about scholarship and fundraising opportunities.

To apply fill out this application. When your $100 deposit is paid either online here or by check your spot is saved.  You will receive more information in January with additional forms to fill out from the Episcopal Church Main office which coordinates EYE.  Each student who applies to EYE is expected to be active in their Episcopal congregations ministries in some way.
